We are fully mobile, so we come to you. Whether your vessel is at a marina, on a boat lift, in dry storage, or in your driveway, we bring all the equipment needed to do the job right at your location. No hauling, no coordination headache on your end.
Fill out the form on this page or call/text Austin directly at (315) 447-3786. The more detail you can share about your vessel (make, model, length, condition, and desired service), the more accurate the quote. For larger restoration or management jobs, a free on-site assessment may be scheduled.
For boats used regularly in Sarasota's saltwater environment, a monthly detail is the most popular option, as it keeps salt, mold, and UV damage in check without letting buildup take hold. Heavy users or liveaboards often prefer bi-weekly. Seasonal boaters do well with quarterly Elite Details. Austin will recommend the right cadence after seeing your vessel's current condition.
Depending on the vessel and management plan, visits can include systems checks, battery and shore-power review, fluid and bilge observations, dock-line and fender checks, ventilation review, exterior care, and photo-backed owner reporting. Storm preparation and post-storm support can also be scoped when appropriate.
Yes. Storm services are available to non-management clients as well, subject to availability and timing. If a named storm is approaching, contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to service all Sarasota-area clients we're able to reach before conditions become unsafe.
Ceramic-coating longevity depends on the installed system, substrate condition, exposure, maintenance, and aftercare. Wheelhouse evaluates and prepares the surface before application and can explain the expected care requirements for the specific coating system used.
Ceramic coating is a liquid-applied protective system used to improve surface behavior, gloss, and ease of maintenance after appropriate preparation. Yacht Armor PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a physical film used in compatible high-wear areas to help protect the underlying finish from abrasion and contact. The appropriate system depends on the surface, use, and protection goal.
Wheelhouse Marine Care presents itself as licensed and insured, and Austin is a USCG Captain. Specific service scope and documentation can be confirmed as part of the inquiry process.
Absolutely. We work with boats on lifts, in wet slips, at dry stack facilities, and in private driveway storage. If you're in dry storage, coordinate with your facility to have the vessel set out, and we will handle the rest. Let us know the setup when you request your quote so we can plan accordingly.
Yes. Depending on the season, we travel for both individual jobs and extended engagements. Service areas have included the Mid-Atlantic Seashore, East Coast, Florida Panhandle, and the Florida Keys. Travel rates apply outside the primary Sarasota service zone. Contact us to discuss your location and timing.
